This feature in Illumine will help you make your customized Fee templates and create automated fee invoicing.

Want to know how automated billing and invoice will help your finance team send fee updates to parents without forgetting the billing dates and set up one time monthly/ quarterly/ yearly invoices and assign students for the same?

How to set up automated billing find out in the steps below.

Step 1: Click on the menu button on home page and then click on settings

Step 2: Select Fee templates on the button of the screen to create your own fee template.

Step 3: Create your own template by clicking on New Template card on top right of the screen.

Step 4: Add all the details like the template name, select the frequency of billing by choosing among quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, and once. Your billing will be set up on the frequency of billing selected. You can also choose the Invoice generation date and last invoice generation. Also mention fee details and add description, amount and any discount to be given can also be added. Click on Save to create your fee template.

Step 5: You can now view your fee template you can also add students by clicking on add students. When you add students they will be added in the automated fee invoice generation that means that students will automatically receive invoices monthly/ quarterly, half-yearly, yearly according to the plan chosen. That means you dont have to create a manual invoice for those students now.

Step 6: You can edit the invoice as well by clicking to the pen on the top left of the screen and can delete the template as well.

Late Fee:

You can now charge the late fee from parents , the late fee can be mentioned in the application and once the due date has passed to pay the fees the charges will automatically get added in the invoice.

Step 1: Click on the menu button and select settings

Step 2 : Click on Miscellaneous settings

Step 3 : Put the amount under late fee option

And you are done. You can waive off the late fee charges by editing the invoice as well

We have these features available in the web portal as well, please find below the steps to do the same in the web portal.

Web portal Automated Billing

Step 1: Click on the menu button on the homepage/dashboard in your web portal and click on Fee and then select Fee template

Step 2: You will come to the fee template page, click on create a template and add all the details like the template name, select the frequency of billing by choosing among quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, and once. Your billing will be set up on the frequency of billing selected. You can also choose the Invoice generation date and last invoice generation. Also mention fee details and add description, amount and any discount to be given can also be added. Click on submit to create your fee template.

Step 3: You can now view your fee template you can also add students by clicking on assign students. When you add students they will be added in the automated fee invoice generation that means that students will automatically receive invoices monthly/ quarterly, half-yearly, yearly according to the plan chosen. That means you dont have to create a manual invoice for those students now.

Step 4: You can edit the invoice as well by clicking to the pen next to assign students cards and can delete the template as well.
